Tokenomics

$KRAIN is the native token of the Krain AI Agent Platform and Marketplace, designed to fuel platform activities and empower the community through governance. Built on the Solana blockchain as an SPL token, $KRAIN is integral to Krain’s ecosystem, serving as both a fee mechanism and a governance utility.

Token Details:

  • Token Name: $KRAIN

  • Network: Base, Ethereum L2

  • Token Type: ERC-20

  • Total Supply: 1 billion

  • Status: Some tokens are subject to cliff and release periods described below

Utility:

  • Platform Fees: $KRAIN will be the preferred currency for paying fees on the platform, ensuring seamless operation and transactions within the marketplace.

  • Governance: $KRAIN holders can participate in decision-making processes, shaping the platform’s future by voting on proposals.

  • Staking: $KRAIN stakers earn rewards, incentivizing long-term token holding and ecosystem participation.

Key Characteristics:

  • $KRAIN tokens will be fully functional for governance and in the platform (when available) upon the completion of the token sale and voting mechanisms are developed.

  • $KRAIN provides no right of return or other distributions.

Token Distribution

The total supply of 1 billion $KRAIN tokens is allocated as follows:

25% - Marketing, Promotion, Token Sale

  • A significant portion of the supply is allocated to eligible participants in the token sale to ensure broad adoption and engagement within the community.

  • These tokens will help establish initial community governance participation for Krain.

25% - Airdrop, Community Support - 3-month cliff, Release over 12 months

  • $KRAIN will be distributed to users and contributors through airdrops, incentivizing adoption, rewarding early supporters, and encouraging engagement with the platform.

  • This allocation aims to nurture a decentralized and active community, providing access to governance and platform utilities.

  • Token airdrop participants will have a three-month cliff followed by a 12-month linear release.

  • Airdrop participants may have opportunities to utilize tokens sooner by participating in the system.

25% - Initial Supporters, Team, Advisors - 12-month cliff, Release over 24 months

  • Reserved for the early backers and supporters who have contributed to Krain’s development and vision.

  • Reserved for the core team, advisors, and service providers who have contributed or will contribute to Krain’s development.

  • Initial Supporters, Team, and Advisors will have a 12-month cliff followed by a 24-month linear release.

25% - Treasury, Operations

  • Allocated for corporate purposes, including liquidity pools, operational expenses, and ensuring stability in the platform’s ecosystem.

Note: Anticipated token distribution amounts and supply are subject to change and require the consent of Initial Supporters, Krain, and/or the $KRAIN governance community.

Deflationary Mechanism

$KRAIN incorporates mechanisms to foster long-term value for holders and incentivize active participation in the ecosystem:

  1. Deflationary Mechanism:

    • Transactions and fees within the platform and marketplace will be settled using $KRAIN or stablecoins, with users benefiting from a discount when paying with $KRAIN tokens.

    • 50% of the fees collected in $KRAIN will be burned, reducing the circulating supply and creating a deflationary effect.

    • This mechanism aligns incentives, fostering sustainable growth for the Krain ecosystem.

    • For platform users who choose to pay in fiat, the company will allocate a portion of the payment to purchase $KRAIN, with 50% of the acquired tokens burned as a deflationary mechanism.

  2. Staking:

    • To reward long-term participation, holders who stake $KRAIN can get rewards.

    • Staking provides a way for holders to earn rewards and actively support the network while incentivizing token retention and engagement.
